Moto Bench and Coffee Table are both designed as tactile furniture focused on the interaction between material and user. The milled waves in the surfaces are designed to catch the eye of the beholder and peak their curiosity and desire to interact with the furniture. Both designs are made from oak, a natural and sustainable material with strong ties to the Danish furniture tradition.

The Moto series has been developed as a knock down concept which can easily be assembled by the user in their own home. In addition, this concept allows a more sustainable handling, both when transporting and disposing of the furniture.

The name Moto is Japanese and can be translated to “originally”, a name that illustrates the original thoughts and ideas behind the designs and brings to mind both the Japanese and the Danish design tradition.
